ST. JOSEPH FARMERS' MARKET

NOTICE:  Due to personal obligations, we have chosen to take a sabbatical from the Market in 2007.  If you would like to purchase small quantities of mushrooms, don't hesitate to contact us!

Once again, the St. Joseph Farmers' Market is being held 3:00 to 6:30 PM Friday afternoons in the grassy area at Resurrection Lutheran Church just across the road from the Lake Wobegon Trail. Local growers, crafters and educators gather each season (mid-May - mid-October) to sell their products and to teach about their hobbies and growing techniques in an intimate atmosphere. This location is a hub of excitement now that the Wobegon bike trail has extended its way to St. Joseph. Coming from St. Cloud the market is located North of town off of County Road 75, and is easily accessible from I-94. Just follow the yellow signs! Along with our products, we provide literature on mushrooms including cultivation facts, nutrition information, and best of all, mushroom recipes!

We offer the following items at the market:

Crimini - 5 oz.

Enoki - 3.5 oz.

Oyster - 3.5 oz.

Portabella Caps, Sliced Portabella and Portabellini Caps - 6.0 oz.

Seasonal Wild Mushrooms - (Gold Chanterelle, Morel, Porcini, Giant Puffballs, Lobster, and both Hen and Chicken of the Woods) 3.5 oz.
