Dried Woodland Blend: <br>Morel, Porcini, Lobster, Oyster, Chanterelle
Our "forest medley" brings together five of the choicest woodland mushrooms. And, unlike some woodland blends on the market, we don't skimp on the morels! We blend equal portions of delicious spring morels, earthy autumn porcini, delicate oyster mushrooms, fruity chanterelles and colorful lobster mushrooms for a stunning gourmet sensation in sauces for poultry, pork and wild game. Unforgettable in soups, stews and casseroles, these beautiful treasures of the forest each add their own unique flavor to favorite dishes.

Re: Forest Mushrooms

Since I’m using them for umami, I found the mushrooms needed a little extra cleaning, but overall, it’s a very good blend.

Forest Mushrooms ---dried blend look just as my grandmothers after being dried on the top shelf o...

Although I haven't used my dried woodland blend yet...am anxious to do so. I make a mushroom soup with both fresh and dried mushrooms...based on a recipe by Jaime Oliver....this selection will be amazing! Another thing I do with dried mushrooms is soak in boiling water and use the mushrooms in one recipe and the liquid in another...so versatile!
