Dried USA No. 2 Morel (bulk)

This most coveted of all wild mushrooms is picked from the forest floor only during a few short weeks each spring. Its uniquely delicious flavor is preserved and enhanced when the morel is dried whole immediately after harvest. Easily rehydrated, morels add a new dimension to cream sauces, stews and omelets. They are also excellent as a sautéed side dish or as a steak topper. These mushrooms are wild harvested and dried in the United States. We sell the whole dried mushrooms for $180 a pound. These less than perfectly shaped dried morels have the same flavor and texture but for a whole lot less money.

Too much sand and grit. I need to do a better job cleaning them but they are so small it will be time consuming. Probably won’t order 2s again.

Unbelievably Incredible Morels

I ordered a modicum of Mushrooms from Kevin , as always, they are wonderful! Finest of quality, service, shipping and new packaging. Included in my order, the #2 Morel 1 lb Bulk , They are out of this world good ! One nice feature Is the variety of sizes . small for sauces , risotto, soups. Medium, use with everything, Extra Large for stuffing with crab, roast vegetables or the fall prize, Duck confit with gruyere, mixed herbs and spinach. Bon Appe`tit
Morels Bulk Pack is a true winner

Good product; terrible packaging

The mushrooms are packed in cheap, flimsy bags. They must be removed from the packaging and stored in something else.

Great mushrooms

Haven't been lucky enough to forage any yet so we were happy to get to try these morels. Great in soups!
