Dried USA Morel Mushrooms

This most coveted of all wild mushrooms is picked from the forest floor only during a few short weeks each spring. Its uniquely delicious flavor is preserved and enhanced when the morel is dried whole immediately after harvest. Easily rehydrated, morels add a new dimension to cream sauces, stews and omelets. They are also excellent as a sautéed side dish or as a steak topper. These mushrooms are wild harvested and dried in the United States.

GREAT MOREL MUSHROOMS

The morel mushrooms we received from Forest Mushrooms were the biggest, cleanest morels I’ve ever seen. They arrived perfectly - big, whole mushrooms, with none of them broken or cracked. I made a mushroom sauce that night, and the morels really shined. I have to say I left most of them whole, and then I picked them out of the sauce and ate them whole - they were so good - such a treat! We also ordered shitake and porcini mushrooms which were equally as beautiful and equally as good. Forest Mushrooms is our dried mushroom go-to store from now on!
