Dried Organic Porcini European Mushrooms (bulk)

Long a European favorite, this treasure of the autumn woods is known in Germany as the steinpilz and in France as the cepe.

These wild Porcini are harvested in Germany and are certified organic by International Certification Services, Inc. Please note that these are smaller pieces called "Swiss Style" but retain their unique flavor when used. This product is likely to contain small particles as well.

Rehydrated porcini mushrooms add a smokey full-bodied flavor and meaty texture to sauces for pasta, chicken, rice, and potato dishes.

It's been 10 days and I haven't received a shipping confirmation or my order.

Disappointed

I originally ordered this product a few years ago, and use the mushrooms in soups and stews. The mushrooms were thick slices and in good condition. The order I received 10 days ago were small pieces and a lot of mushroom dust. It looks as if the bag was dropped a number of times. I had hoped to receive a comparable item to my first purchase but unfortunately did not.

Porcici-- may be my new favorite mushroom

My last order was the first time that I have tried porcini mushrooms. I really like them. They may be my new favorite, although I still really like the chanterelles .

Very satisfied, just now tried the Maitake mushrooms I purchased and they were delicious. Very satisfied . Will definitely order again.
