Although I haven't used my dried woodland blend yet...am anxious to do so. I make a mushroom soup with both fresh and dried mushrooms...based on a recipe by Jaime Oliver....this selection will be amazing! Another thing I do with dried mushrooms is soak in boiling water and use the mushrooms in one recipe and the liquid in another...so versatile!

I was a bit surprised at the size and select mix of this mushroom blend. Even more pleased with the taste and texture of the rehydrated product. Even my husband commented on hw good the mushrooms were for dinner. While other dried mushrooms have sometimes lingered in the pantry, I think these will be disappearing soon!

Excellent blend

I've ordered this blend before and, as usual, I am impressed with the amount and size of the morels. It's a great blend and along with the stock makes an excellent mushroom soup. Be sure and save the broth to use in soups and rice!
